Spendo Privacy Policy

Overview

Spendo is a personal finance utility app that helps users track expenses, budgets, and subscriptions. Spendo is designed to work primarily on-device and does not require account registration to use its main features.

Information Spendo stores

Spendo stores the information you choose to enter into the app, including expense records, category selections, monthly budget values, subscription details, and app settings such as language or reminder preferences.

This information is stored locally on your device using on-device app storage. Based on the current app build, this information is not sent by Spendo to a remote server operated by the developer.

Notifications

If you enable reminder notifications, Spendo schedules local notifications on your device for subscription renewal reminders. Notification content is generated from subscription data stored on your device.

Notification permissions are optional. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or inside the app where available.

Data Spendo does not currently collect for remote processing

• Account registration data
• Cloud backups operated by the developer
• Remote analytics or behavior tracking operated by the developer
• Advertising identifiers used by the developer for ad targeting
• Payment card or banking credentials processed directly by the app

Third-party platform providers

App distribution platforms such as Apple or Google may process limited technical, billing, or diagnostic information under their own terms when you download or purchase apps from their stores. That platform processing is governed by the relevant platform provider, not this website.

If you choose to purchase Spendo Premium, subscription billing, renewals, and purchase restoration are handled by the App Store or Play Store account attached to your device.

Data retention and deletion

Because app data is stored locally on your device, you control most retention directly. You can delete entries from within the app or remove the app from your device to delete locally stored app data, subject to any device-level backups you have enabled.

Children's privacy

Spendo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information in a way that requires action, please use the support contact path listed on the Support page.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if Spendo adds new features such as cloud sync, analytics, account systems, or additional integrations. Material updates should be reflected on this page before the related features are released.
